Decor Elements Season of Thanks

February 10, 2009

This is an odd time of the year to share this picture but I haven’t posted it yet so I thought why not?! I love this tile which uses the Season of Thanks from our Decor Elements line and then leaves die cut with the Bigshot.

Decor Elements Season of Thanks

I made this several months ago but I still smile each time I see it. I also crimped the leaves and then darkened them up a bit with some ink. I had a discussion with someone this weekend about if this saying could be used year round. I’ve had people go both ways - some say it’s only a Fall sentiment but others think you could change out the leaves (they are attached with mini glue dots) for other seasonal items and use it year round.

What do you think? I’d love to hear your comments!

Oh and I think I might actually get to stamp this evening so keep your fingers crossed that I’ll be able to post something new with PAPER tomorrow! :)

Decor Elements - I’m in love!

January 2, 2009

I’m addicted to our Decor Elements line! Why haven’t I posted anthing here? Well because I’m lazy! For a while I had not taken pictures then after that I just hadn’t resized and uploaded. So today while I should be doing laundry, making swaps for leadership, practicing my presentation - I’m here instead :)

Okay, so don’t you just LOVE this tray? I know you must because I think it’s gorgeous!

I found the tray on clearance for about $5 and loved the design but decided it could be spruced up a little so I added some Decor Elements. I used part of Flourishes for this project. Here is the complete image you receive when you order Flourishes…

I don’t think I’ve used the leftovers yet, hmmm, must find something else to decorate!

Next up would be a lovely canvas from my friend Kim. She brought the canvas to me and asked if I could use it and I said SURE! I used the Together Forever Circle and added the Monogram to the middle.

I actually took this one step further and offered this design (with your choice of mongram of course) as one of my Holiday Boutique projects. Instead of using a canvas we used 13×13 tiles. They were a huge hit! I’ll post a sample of one of those soon as we still have to make one as a gift this weekend.

Okay the girls are packing for their sleepover tonight with the grandparents and I’m scared to go out and see what is in their suitcases (probably all but the kitchen sink)! So until tomorrow or later today if I procrastinate more on my swaps ;)

Spooky Decor Elements

October 31, 2008

I’m in serious love with our Decor Elements line! They are so easy to use and turn ordinary items into WOW! items with such little effort.

Here’s a spooky bucket that I made for Halloween -

Patrick picked up this bucket from a local home improvement store along with a can of orange spray paint. I sprayed it inside and out waited impatiently for it to dry! The painting/drying process was the longest part of this project. Wait, no the driving to the store and back would be the longest part :)

Anyway, once dry I applied the Spooky Spider Decor Element and VOILA! a candy holder or fill it with party favors for a school party (like I did for Audrey’s class). Easy peasy and super cute!

Happy Halloween!

Cute little flower

October 5, 2008

Here’s a super easy way to personalize a kid’s room - DECOR ELEMENTS! I found this little flower on clearance for $2.99 and since Mac’s room is pink and green it was calling her name. Decor Elements is so super easy I actually applied this at a Stamp Insanity class that Julie and I had in July. It was the first one that I had applied and I did it right in front of all our attendees - I’m such a brave soul!

It’s super cute and when I’m not carting it off to show at a party or class she’s using it for tea parties!

The second phase of Decor Elements has been introduced and if you haven’t seen them you are missing out! New images, new colors, holiday items … the possibilities are endless!
