Day 1 evening - Founder’s Circle

At the end of check in day (Wed) we had a lovely dinner…
After dinner we had a Rising Star - Present and Past meeting which was very interesting. It was actually open to everyone so it was neat to sit in this big room and hear all these great ideas being shared. Since this was my first Founder’s it was also very cool to be able to meet and put faces with the names of so many. We were up so late and I had not slept at all the night before, no nap during the day, so I was ready to fall over once I made it to my room.
I don’t know think I showed you the name plates on our doors - too cool
I thought it was really cool but I didn’t study it closely. I guess I was too overwhelmed by everything else. Anyway I get home and Patrick says “Isn’t this that um, what do you call them, stickum things?” Laughing, I looked more closely and indeed it does look like Decor Elements. It isn’t something that’s offered now - I’m not starting any rumors either - but it was pretty cool. Maybe we’ll see them in the catalog before long?
Anyway, came into the room went straight for the pj’s and then to take out my contacts which felt as if they were glued to my eyeballs. When what to my eyes does appear on the shower curtain rod? A GIFT….
I was amazed. I really just stared at it for a bit as if it were from another world. I know that sounds really stupid but I was just stunned that this was only the first night and WOW it had been an awesome ride so far. And of course I was sleep deprived 
But wait, it wasn’t empty, oh no my friends it contained 3 Classic stamp pads, a roll of double stitched ribbon and a stamp set. TWO STAMP SETS IN ONE DAY!
I slept like the dead after fondling my new goodies - hahahaha - but who doesn’t like free stuff? Okay the truth, I fell into bed and never remembered hitting the pillow. But I really loved my gift Shelli, honest
